Timber Components

All joinery uses tenon, mortise, and peg systems.

Imagine how you can add value to your house.

When people come to your house, the first thing they will see is a decorative timber brace and a full timber framed porch. A frame inside the living room is also a very effective way to make the entire house atmosphere woody and comfortable.

More and more, we see people using timbers in regular types of construction. Most often, this timber work is done by the contractor on the site with minimum and simple joinery.

We have provided decorative timber parts to development sites with good success. Using only these components is not as desirable as having a full timber frame house, but it's a step to enable more people to see and touch actual timber framing. The practicality of this idea depends on the volume and cost of shipping to the destination. Over 3000 bdft, which is 10 units of timber components on average, is a practical volume to get us involved.

This sample roof is about 4600 bdft. In total, 77 parts are used to build the image frame. For the frame, we use KD, not grade FOHC timber. We do not set a minimum volume. The price depends on the total volume of the project.
